Seiko Presage Cocktail Irish Coffee
Sometimes, pictures should do most of the talking. Such is the case in this review of the Seiko Presage Cocktail Irish Coffee. The stunning limited edition reference SSA401J1 suggests a bridge exists between the dial work of Seiko and Grand Seiko. Many people like Seiko for their low-cost divers, which are quite reliable. Still, when considering dress-style watches, the Presage is a classic example that offers significant depth and quality.

- Dial colors and textures are amazing!
- Finishing is spot on. Not quite like GS, but worth mentioning.
- Complication implementations, with the date mimicking a small seconds at 6 and the exaggerated power reserve indicator.
- Deployant clasp is nice.
- Simple packaging is appreciated.
- Came with a thermos!
- Strap color works and quality/comfort is average.
- Rotor noise at times.
- Cost seems to be varying a lot.
- General wear comfort.
Cons:
- Height makes it feel a tad bulky.
- Reverse strap might be problematic for some people.
- Stem/Crown extends a bit too far from the case for my liking.
- Crystal should be sapphire (not Hardlex) at this price point!

Final Thought
The Seiko Presage Irish Coffee has some tolerable cons, but overall it is spectacular. A beautiful watch to look at and wear. Very happy to have one in the collection and I highly recommend.
